Alpha Subunit TSH refers to the alpha subunit of thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH). TSH is a hormone produced by the pituitary gland, a small gland located at the base of the brain. It plays a crucial role in the regulation of thyroid function.
The alpha subunit of TSH is one of two subunits that make up the whole TSH molecule. The other subunit is called the beta subunit.
